"Are you Japanese?"
Yes, I am. I live in one of towns in Tokyo. But my town is kinda country and it takes me over 1 hour to get Tokyo station by train.lol. (My town is almost Yamanashi 山梨, if you know a map of Japan...)

Kimono patterns
I make myself all of kimono patterns in my picture.

tools
I sketch by hand.
I use brush pens and micron pens on linearts.
I use photoshop cs2 to color.
I use "hard pastel" in "brush tools" in photoshop
to make pics look like woodblock print.

Manga
I like Mizuno Junko's works, Ima Ichiko's and Urasawa Naoki's.

But I don't read much mangas anymore, though I used to read a lot before.
There're TONS OF mangas here and you would feed up with reading mangas if you were in Japan for a long time.^_^; Really.

And,
Some people say that my works are similar to xxx HOLIC or Jigoku Syoujo or Rozen maiden, everytime I draw something like wa-gothic, or lolita, or just japanese things, just girls with black long hair.

But I haven't watched/read any of them.
I haven't been told like that ever in Japan so I wonder why.

Maybe it's because the people know only famous works and tend to think soon that it's holic when they just see pics of japanese things, that it's Rozen when they see lolita girls, and so on.

I don't mind about Rozen and Jigoku-syoujo so much,
but I dislike CLAMP since childhood so being told that makes me very annoy.
It even makes me dislike my own works too, and end up removing them.

Almost for two years I've been doing such a stupid thing, but I don't want to dislike my works anymore.
I decided to leave dA.

Still, dA gave me a lot of important things. I learned many things here. It was like a school. And it's because of you!
